Initiated by stylist Ciss St Moïse, the Nzassa Mode festival in Treichville was held for the first time from the 20th to the 23rd March 2015 in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire.
Thirty-seven young Ivoirian designers from various backgrounds participated in two shows in the streets of Treichville.
Aware of the role of fashion and design in the world, the festival’s official sponsor, Ciss St Moïse and his association have become the standard-bearers of this new generation of designers, talented and creative.
The concept of cultural and artistic brewing advocated by the Nzassa Mode is a showcase of the new emerging Côte d’Ivoire, reflecting its historical diversity. The mythical city of Treichville stood out as the perfect venue to host such an event, this legendary district alone carrying inherited values specific to Côte d’Ivoire; its hospitality, brotherhood and the cultural and ethnic diversity of this great country.
